Wash Box Chain
At the heart of most mining operations is what is called a wash box, this is especially true in coal mining. We supply bar-type wash box chains, engineer-class wash box chains with threaded extended pins, and 6" - 9" pitch wash box chains with a bent tab on both sides. Wash box chains are utilized in some of the most abrasive environments within mining, especially in coal mining operations due to the corrosive sulfur found in wet coal washers. Our superior wash box mining chains are precision manufactured from specific steel alloys with unique heat treatments done in a way that allows for the chains to showcase higher load ratings and a longer working life, even in the most demanding of applications.
