Quick Change Conveyor Screws
The specially designed Quick Change conveyer screws use a design that allows for conveyor screws to be completely changed out or for making screw repairs without the daunting task of dismantling the entire conveyor. It works by having a quick-change clamping key installed and bolted on one end of the conveyor pipe. By disconnecting the quick change section by unbolting the clamping keys and hanger, a complete screw conveyor section can be lifted without disturbing any preceding sections. Then to replace a section simply bolt the quick-change clamping keys and the hanger in place and you'll be back in production in no time! The quick-change feature is available on any type of standard and non-standard conveyor screws, including ones made of special materials. Typically they are supplied with the quick change clamping key in only one end, conveyor sections with the clamping key on both sides are also available upon request. For assembly with the conveyor system make sure to place the end with the quick change clamping key nearest to the drive end, this eliminates any need to remove the drive unit for repairs.
