Quick Change 6" ribbon conveyor screw X 9' 10" long is a left-hand high-strength screw made for mixing applications as well as conveying sticky or gummy materials. The specially designed Quick Change conveyer screws use a design that allows for conveyor screws to be completely changed out or for making screw repairs without the daunting task of dismantling the entire conveyor. The design of ribbon conveyor screws prevents material from gathering where the screw meets the pipe and provides a mixing type of action for dry materials. Mixing action only occurs if the cross-sectional load is larger than the face of the flight (dimension D). Ribbon flights are fastened to the pipe with the use of Nu-Weld lugs, this eliminates the necessity of drilling fastening holes in the mounting pipe and therefore assures a stronger unit as the result, the pipe also features seamless internal collars in each end.
