This #80 cottered roller chain features heat-treated and shot peened components including the pins, side plates, rollers, and bushings. Doing this to a roller chain greatly increases the strength, working life, and durability of a chain. General Duty Plus #80 cottered roller chain has a tensile strength of 17,000lbs and is constructed of high quality carbon steel. #80 cottered roller chain is commonly supplied in 10ft boxes but is also available on 50ft reels, 100ft reels, and as custom lengths per request. This chain uses cotter pins instead of rivets, the benefit of this is that the chain is easier to install sections and eliminate the need of cutting the rivet pins.
