788 Chain is manufactured with a full cast link and hardened carbon-steel pins for ultimate strength while maintaining a lightweight, and features an average ultimate strength of 22,750 LBS and a maximum recommended working load of 2,740 LBS. It is apart of the heavy duty 700-Class series pintle chain and is a common in-stock item. USA Roller Chain has a premium 788 chain in either riveted or cottered construction. Something special about this chain is the T-Head pins that eliminate pin rotation while at the same time prevent the entrance of dirt and or grit. As a drive chain, 788 chain is designed to travel in just one direction (the direction of their barrel ends). This chain is primarily used in wastewater applications such as rectangular clarifiers, as well as other conveying applications.
