Poly Steel Roller Chain
Poly steel roller chain is a lightweight, lube-free roller chain manufactured with a combination of stainless steel pins and outer side plates and polymer inside block links (roller links). This clean and quiet roller chain type is found in applications like medical equipment, food processing, scientific equipment, and in environments that are highly corrosive or abrasive. Our superior quality poly-steel chains are manufactured using top-grade materials that are precision formed and machined into each respective part that makes up the chain assembly. We supply ANSI sizes 25 - 60 and metric 06B - 16B poly steel chain sizes along with their sprocket counterparts (recommended to be made from stainless or UHMW). Each chain size is typically supplied in 10ft lengths, including one connecting link (master link), but custom lengths are available upon request. Additionally, we offer poly steel roller chains with attachments like extended pins or bent tabs. Our poly steel roller chain has two main components: a polyacetal inner link (roller link/ photo above on the left) and a premium 304-grade stainless steel pin link (outside link/ photo above on the right). These components are assembled per the photos above to create a complete poly-steel roller chain. This combination creates a self-lubricating roller chain that is extremely anti-corrosive, has higher strength than a solid plastic chain, and can operate in a wide range of temperatures (-200°F to +180°F). These chains are in stock in ANSI Sizes #25 - #60 and metric sizes 06B - 16B, but additional sizes can be manufactured upon request.

When it comes to choosing a sprocket for your poly steel roller chain, we recommend using a plastic sprocket. We keep a full line of high-quality nylatron, UHMW, and nylon plastic sprockets in stock. Refer to the chart below for the in-stock sprocket size.
