7200 Series Angular Contact Bearings
7200 series angular contact ball bearings are manufactured to ABEC 5 precision standards which classify them as high-precision bearings. ABEC 5 means that the bearing itself has a micron deviation from a nominal of 20.000mm of -6 micrometres. 7200 series bearings range in bore sizes from 10mm to 150mm and are available with 40° (type B) or 15° (type C) and as singular bearings or as a bearing pair. Angular contact bearings have races with high shoulders allowing the balls to operate at higher contact angles giving them increased one-directional thrust capacity over the same size Conrad style (deep groove) bearing. Greater clearances between the balls and the raceways allow for higher contact angles.
