This #100H roller chain features heat-treated and shot peened components including the pins, side plates, rollers, and bushings. Doing this to a roller chain greatly increases the strength, working life, and durability of a chain. The "H" designates that his chain has thicker side plates and is part of the heavy series of roller chains. Having thicker sides plate increases strength, shock load, fatigue, and the overall working life of the chain. General Duty Plus #100H roller chain has a tensile strength of 31,260lbs and is constructed of high quality carbon steel. #100H heavy roller chain is commonly supplied in 10ft boxes but custom lengths are available per request.
