Premier Series #80 cottered roller chain is a Premium quality ANSI standard roller chain. This #80 cottered roller chain features heat-treated and shot peened components including the pins, side plates, rollers, and bushings. This #80 cottered roller chain has also been pre-stretched to reduce elongation during the working life of the chain; this helps things run more efficiently and for longer periods of time. Doing this to a roller chain greatly increases the strength, working life, and overall durability of the chain. Premier Series #80 cottered roller chain features solid bushings and solid rollers and is also constructed of a premium quality carbon steel, which greatly increases the strength, working life, and efficiency of the roller chain. This premium quality 80 roller chain has a tensile strength of 17,600lbs, and a working load of 3,300lbs. #80 cottered roller chain is commonly supplied in 10ft boxes but is also available on 50ft reels, 100ft reels, and as custom lengths per request. This chain uses cotter pins instead of rivets, the benefit of this is that the chain is easier to install sections and eliminate the need of cutting the rivet pins.
