This 308C pintle chain also features a well engineered open-barreled design which minimizes the contact between the pin and surface, as well as preventing material build up that often results in the chain freezing. On top of that the open barrel design also helps remove build up on sprockets, thus increasing the overall life and performance of the chain and sprockets.
