#25H heavy roller chain is designed for more demanding light-duty industrial applications. The "H" in the part number designates that this chain has thicker side-plates (heavy) than that of a standard 25 chain. This design increases strength and horsepower ratings for the chain while still maintaining a compact design. What separates our 25H chain from others is; heat-treated components, shot peen components, factory pre-loading, and premium lubrication. Heat-treating the individual carbon steel components increases the surface hardness of the component as well as overall strength, improving wear life and shock load capability. When these same components are then shot-peened the fatigue resistance dramatically increases, further elaborating on the chain wear characteristics. The specific factory pre-loading process diminishes initial and long-term chain stretch, almost eliminating the hassle of constant tension adjustments. Once complete and all of the components are assembled the chain is then hot dipped into high-grade lubrication to guarantee the 25H chain gives you the best performance right out of the box! Standardly supplied as a 480-link strand (10ft) including one master link, a 25H chain is also available in 100ft reels, 250ft reels, and 500ft reels upon request.
