Made in USA CA550 Chain Breaker

This CA550 chain breaker is Made in The USA, uses heat-treated tool-grade steel, and includes an extra replacement tip. The traditional way of grinding down the chain rivet and pushing out the pins is not only labor and time consuming, but can cause damage to your brand new chain during the process. Because of this, chain breakers are the most commonly sold roller chain accessory we supply.

CA550 Chain Breaker Instructions:
1. Place jaws of tool over the roller with push-out pin centered on chain pin.
2. Tighten down by turning top handle clockwise until chain pin loosens, driving it partially through the link plate. (Caution - do not force pin all the way through link plate as pin plate will bend and damage the roller link)
3. Follow the same procedure on the other pin of the same pin link forcing pin through pin plate. 4. Return to original pin and force completely through pin plate freeing link plate from pins.
5. Remove disassembled pin link from the chain.
