C2040DC double capacity roller chain is a high-strength 1.00" pitch chain that can operate on ANSI single-strand double-pitch sprockets with roughly double the tensile and working capacity as a standard C2040 roller chain. Double-pitch double-capacity chains have a unique ability in conveying applications to carry and transport much higher loads than standard double-pitch chains. This unique chain is designed with double the amount of side plates and an enlarged pin giving it strength capabilities almost on par with a leaf chain with the flexibility of a roller chain. C2040 double-capacity chain boasts an average ultimate tensile strength of 8,590 pounds with a tremendous dimensional-to-strength form factor of only 0.97" at its widest point (the connecting link)!
