This farm duty 1/3 HP electric motor is a single phase, 1800 RPM high efficiency alternating current (AC) motor. Though categorized as "farm duty" this motor boasts premium features above and beyond the "standard" that equate to high-quality and durable motor that can boast a 1.15 service factor.
