20H610-125-1701 helicoid conveyor screw flighting is a left-hand 20" diameter, standard length in this size is 11ft 9" long and it is manufactured from heavy-duty steel, the flight thickness next to the anticipated pipe is 5/16" and 5/32" on the flighting outer edge. Flighting only is used for applications where you may only need a section or in circumstances where a special pipe or pre-existing pipe can be re-used. 20" diameter screw flighting is made into one continuous helix with the use of special helicoid forming machines, raw carbon steel material in the form of strips are fed into this machine and cold-formed as they go through a set of cone-shaped dies, from the process the material is compressed at the outer edges of the flight making it thinner than the inner edges, then the surface of the flight actually come out hardened due to it being cold rolled from the dies making it more abrasion resistant and stronger. The end result is a work-hardened smooth finished screw flighting length that is ready for operation. 20" diameter helicoid conveyor screw flighting is superior to other types due to its diameter, pitch, and thickness being closely controlled throughout the manufacturing process. The flighting is typically secured to the pipe by intermittent welds and high-strength welded steel lugs for maximum hold. These left-hand 20" diameter screw flights are able to be assembled in conjunction with each other to produce screw conveying systems as long as 150ft.
