ANSI #65 Roller Chain - 10ft Box Specifications
The 65 roller chain is a non-standard series roller chain that is commonly an in-stock item for USA Roller Chain. It has a 1/2" pitch and is manufactured in accordance with the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) B29.1 Standard, meaning it is interchangeable with chains made by other manufacturers. A notable feature of this chain is that it also directly interchanges with #43- and #410-size chains. Chains may have different part numbers but the same dimensions; this is the result of original manufacturers of ANSI chains using different designations. See the chart below for dimensional comparisons.
A few features that set our #65 roller chain apart from others include the use of solid rollers for extended wear life and improved performance, high-quality lubricant that is applied at the factory level, heat-treated shot-peened components (pins, bushings, rollers, side plates), and pre-stretching at the time of manufacture for decreased chain stretch. Also, for applications that require an extreme-performance 65 roller chain, we stock this product in our "Premier Series," which offers higher strengths and implements solid bushings to accompany the solid rollers for less friction and improved performance.
The lightweight industrial-duty aspects of this chain make it ideal for many conveying systems that run at low or high speeds. Its space-saving narrow design also adds an additional layer of versatility when design engineers are determining what chain to use. Please note that due to the size of this chain, it is recommended to only use spring-clip-style connecting links (master links).
