Hanger bearings provide a sturdy, mountable bearing surface for shafting within various applications. Our premium mounted hanger bearings are supplied with performance ball-bearing inserts in high-strength cast housing for a long-term and dependable working life. Additionally, we supply hanger bearings for screw conveyor applications with roller, ball, wood, UHMW, or bronze inserts. Originally patented in 1903, hanger bearings have become popular in many systems. Typical hanger-bearing applications include conveyor systems, plant machinery, and screw conveyors. Standard locking mechanisms are available for cast iron and stainless hanger bearings, such as; set screws, eccentric locking collar, and a Tru-Lock collar.
