Our premium thermoplastic tapped base bearings are made from a unique reinforced solid PBT plastic housing with a precision C3 stainless steel insert bearing for ultimate performance and durability. Thermoplastic bearings are utilized in a broad range of corrosive and FDA applications; they are also lighter than their cast steel counterparts. These bearings have two set-screws for securing onto a shaft and are supplied with food-grade lubricant.
