Shuttle Car Chain
Shuttle cars were first introduced in 1937 as a superior method of transferring coal and other mined materials from the mine work face. The shuttle car chain is an essential component of this highly productive equipment. It is designed to run parallel to one another as two separate strands of chain conjoined by metal bars (slats). These slats carry/ convey the material into the bed of the shuttle car. Our shuttle car mining chains are made from high-grade materials with specific heat-treatment processes done to various components within the chain. As an essential transmission component within any mining operation using these chains, we at USA Roller Chain supply a genuine tier-one chain that can withstand the use and abuse in this highly demanding application. We supply both the standard shuttle car chains and super shuttle 4 shuttle car mining chain options and custom shuttle car chains (including various bespoke options) with their accompanying sprockets. For additional information or to get a quote on our high-strength shuttle car chains, contact our customer service team, and we will be happy to assist you!
