H78 Chain

2.609" Pitch H78 chain is a malleable-cast mill chain designed for heavy-duty conveying and drive systems in abrasive environments. H78 Chain has adopted the common name as H78 mill chain because it has been one of the most common found chain types in the mill and lumber industry for 70+ years! Specifically, our H78 chain has an ultra-high working-load of 2,810 LBS and a tensile strength pf 22,220 LBS making it capable of handling some of the toughest applications out there. We also supply H78 chain off the shelf with stainless steel cotter pins (cotter keys) for applications such as environmental, aggregate, and wastewater. H78 mill chain is designed to run on the same sprockets as its steel counterpart "WH78 welded steel chain" meaning if you are making a switch to the cast version no sprocket replacement is necessary.
