The 600-series automatic 66 frame motor base in the vertical configuration is best utilized in applications with a fixed diameter pulley. 600-series 66 frame automatic electric motor base automatically compensates for variations in load, expansion of belts due to centrifugal force, and normal belt stretch. Basically meaning that instead of a maintenance tech having to make these adjustments it's done automatically with the motor base, which saves time, money, and improves production time. This also increases the overall life of the belt and bearings 3 to 5 times depending on the application, while at the same time maintaining optimal tension on the belt for consistent peak performance. The base its self is manufactured from high-strength steel and uses heavy-duty springs for continual operation and tension.
