6300 Series Deep Groove Ball Bearings
6300 series ball bearings range in bore sizes from 10 millimeters up to 140 millimeters and are defined as a deep-groove ball bearing type. The purpose of a deep groove radial ball bearing is to reduce rotational friction and support loads. This is achieved with the use of an inner race and retainer that holds the individual balls in place for an even spread of the load capacity. The spherule shape of the balls creates a much lower coefficient of friction than that of two flat surfaces rotating. We supply 6300 series bearings in precision ratings ranging from ABE 1 ( industry standard) up to ABEC 7 (high-precision) as well as in materials such as stainless steel and ceramic.
