140H Heavy Roller Chain

140H chain is a 1.750" (1-3/4") pitch heavy-duty roller chain manufactured in conformance with ANSI B29.1 dimensional standards. Heavy-duty 140H chain has the same dimensions and operates on the same sprockets as 140 standard roller chains, with the exception of the side plates. 140H chain side plates are 0.250" thick versus 140 standard chains having 0.219" thick side plates. This addition in material increases the tensile strength while improving the ability to absorb shock loads. Due to the added side plate thickness 140H chain is 2.62" at its widest point (the connecting link). When changing from a standard 140 chain to a 140H heavy-duty roller chain, it is imperative that the appropriate space is available to accommodate the added width within the application. Our selection of 140H roller chains includes; riveted or cottered construction and General Duty Plus or Premium quality levels. Additionally, the 140H chain is supplied from stock in 10ft boxes, including one connecting link per box but custom lengths can be requested.
