This 12 volt Direct Current (DC) 1/3 hp electric motor is designed for applications that need simple variable speed controlled motor that runs off of low voltage DC power supplied from batteries or generators. Specifically this motor is rated for 1800 RPM, is totally enclosed non-ventilated (TENV) for dusty and outdoor applications and can easily be used with an alternating current (AC) source with the use of a DC controller. The 1/3 horsepower DC motor utilizes a durable construction, IP54 rating of protection, and uses the common C-face 56C frame for drop-in replacing other brands. The motors base is removable and it has an industry leading 1.0 service factor. Utilizing a high-quality electric motor is essential for reducing downtime and increasing overall productivity.
